The water commissioner advised us that the CO water board has placed a call on water due to the low level of Dallas Creek. Our head gate should be kept at 0.6. This call is likely to remain in place for the rest of the irrigation season unless we get significant monsoon activity.

Beaver building dams in the ditch

Just FYI. Since last week, we have had an active beaver trying to dam our ditch along CR5. 4 dams have been dismantled so far.

5/11 Water Restriction

The weir at Dallas creek has been adjusted by the water commissioner at 0.6 on the flume and should not be altered.

4/17-4/18 Temporary ditch shut off

Due to hard freezing conditions, we will temporarily shut off the ditch and resume operations asap.
